Anantgram ("Anantgram," "we," "us," "our") operates the website anantgram.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly, including:

  • Name, email address, and phone number, through our Contact form, Vanaa inquiry form, and Visit Request form.
  • Group size, preferred visit dates, visit intent, and notes, through the Visit Request form.
  • Accessibility, mobility, health, or dietary needs that you choose to share for visit planning.
  • WhatsApp contact preference, if you select it.
  • Any other information you include in message or notes fields.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy .

2. The Basis On Which We Process Your Data

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form or opt in to updates. Your consent is specific to the purposes set out in this policy.

Where the law allows or requires us to process data for a legal obligation or for legitimate uses recognised under the DPDP Act, we may do so on that basis.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. To withdraw, write to us at the address in Section 10. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out while your consent was valid.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries about visits, Vanaa custodianship, workshops, and retreats.
  • Confirm bookings, itineraries, and applicable fees.
  • Communicate before, during, and after your visit, including safety briefings, weather updates, and accessibility arrangements.
  • Send updates about Anantgram programmes, if you have opted in.
  • Improve our Site and understand visitor interests.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sensitive Information (Health, Mobility, Dietary)

If you share health, mobility, sensory, or dietary information for visit planning, we use it only for that purpose.

Access is limited to team members directly involved in planning your visit. We do not use this information for analytics, marketing, or profiling.

We retain it only for as long as needed to plan and complete your visit, and delete it after that, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate, such as email and CRM tools, website hosting, and payment processing where applicable.
  • Team members directly involved in planning your visit or Vanaa engagement.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of our service providers may process or store data outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to protect your data and to comply with the DPDP Act and any restrictions the Government of India places on cross-border transfers.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as the law requires.

You may request deletion of your data at any time. See Section 8.

7. Cookies

Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics.

Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent. You can manage your preferences using the Cookie Settings tool in our Site footer.

  • Correct, complete, or update that information.
  • Request deletion of that information.
  • Withdraw your consent to processing.
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance about how we handle your data, and have it addressed.
